About Blue Haze Arts & Crafts
Hazel Hopkinson opened Blue Haze Arts & Crafts on 23rd April 2005, when her pipe dream came true!
Having been a life long crafter, it became more and more frustrating to find a wide choice of good quality sewing and general craft equipment.
When she was made redundant from her job in the IT industry this was the time to make a difference!
Since that day Blue Haze has definitely become a big part of the community and has been quoted in the local press as being one of “Chesham’s Jewels“!
Blue Haze is a very colourful shop, housed in a 16th century listed building in the quaint historical town of Chesham. It is modern and organised, but eclectic, often described as an “Aladdin’s Cave”.
Art & Craft Supplies
It’s full of wonderful, shiny, colourful things, including Tapestry Wools, Embroidery Threads, Sewing Threads, Paints, Pencils, Beads, Knitting Yarns, Haberdashery, Paper Craft, Decopatch, oh the list goes on and on!
If you ever telephone us, your call will be answered by either Hazel, Jan or Sarah, who between them have way too many years of crafting and needlework experience (we need to stop counting).
The shop also has a lovely airy workspace upstairs which has proved to be a regular haunt for people participating in the workshops.
We are trying to cut down on unwanted waste, so as much as possible we recycle our product packaging. A lot of our regular shop customers save bags and give them to us to re-use. We are also encouraging our suppliers to cut down on packaging, particularly plastics.
We have an adopted Charity which is Breast Cancer Care. But, try to support our local charities too!
